#OccupyWallStreet and the Internet

It's out of the box now

With the colleges and unions joining in, Occupy Wall Street expands massively in volume. Lamestream Media coverage is still spotty and unbelievable: approx. 10-20,000 or more people in the march today; people getting pepper-sprayed, clubbed by police and still nothing from President Obama...

Good cops protect people. Cowards beat people in crowds. [tweets]

Some eye-opening videos:

The NY Observer has the guts to publish this video.

Once again, Netpolitik reports rumors that people are allegedly downloading and redistributing these videos in case of censorship/sanitization; saving history. As always, Netpolitik does not endorse or encourage any violations of TOS

Obama has time to issue a statement about Steve Jobs' death

Lamestream Media continues to attempt to downplay and spin - look for yourself at the videos; that's no "couple hundred people" or "buncha hippies - but cannot keep up with the huge volume of data and information being produced by Occupy Wall Street.

Occupy... Wall Street; Denver; Cleveland; Dallas; Los Angeles; Boston; Seattle, Portland... Prague, Frankfurt, Toronto, Melbourne, Tokyo, and Cork, London... universities checking in every day... 50 professors walk out in solidarity with NY students...

It is crystal clear now: the mainstream media called out suppressing and distorting information, President Obama at least compromised if not completely bought by Corporate Money, and the Internet is people's most powerful tool for democracy.

If you checked or read this blog because of OccupyWallStreet, then please research the topics under "Legal" here in the right sidebar. Occupy Wall Street could not have been possible without the Internet, and the Internet is under assault by corporate money working in harmony with corrupt lawmakers to destroy or massively limit the functionality of the Internet.

Put the same energy you do into Occupying Wall Street into protecting the LAST AND ONLY FREE PRESS. It's the only real, uncensored news media we have now.

I would send out for assistance but there's someone on the signal wire
And the corporation logo is flashing on and off in the sky
They're putting all your names in the forbidden book
I know what they're doing but I don't want to look

You think they're so dumb, you think they're so funny
Wait until they've got you running to the

Today: #revShuttlesworth dies, unions join in on #ows, #stevejobs dies, #NYPD criminals attack #ows ppl, #clarencethomas investigated - whew

@BarackObama Shame on you! Protestors getting sprayed, penned, and beat in the street and you don't even acknowledge them.

@PresidentObama @whitehousegov How can you ignore #OccupyWallStreet? True colors showing.

"I believe in capitalism, but I believe in a level playing field" Michael Meyers

The battle is not left vs. right. The battle is corporatism vs. humans.

We watched in horror as protestors were beaten in other countries, and now in America, NYPD is doing the same to Americans Citizens.

We appear to have moved to "then they fight you" stage. RT @xxxxxxx Girl near me coughing "they pepper sprayer everyone"

Adbusters still running #OccupyWallStreet feed; there is no "official" Occupy wall st. hashtag. Any assertion otherwise is rumor.

Given typical ignorance/apathy toward rather transparent corporate takeover of education, only #OWS gives me hope

Couple of 'protesters' with badges move out of the back of the crowd and join the police. #ows

RT @xxxxxx: Cops dressed as civilians

White shirted NYPD now ordering their officers to "Walk with them!" Crowd remains peaceful, no confirmed arrests.. #OWS

Breaking: Frick allegedly employs Pinkertons to infiltrate #OccupyWallStreet #GoonSquad #OWS

No offense meant but if you're a news operation and you're not covering #OWS tonight, you're not a news operation any more

How is it, in this world of instant news all the time, that there is so little coverage of the #OWS protests? It fucking stinks.

People trying to bring about change and bring some power back to the people, and the news agencies fall over themselves to black it out

Never been more disappointed of the media until today. Just browsed all the news shows and not ONE mention of the march today. Shame!

Steve Jobs has died. RIP Steve

"Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes." Thank you, Steve Jobs. #ows

interesting MSM announces Steve Jobs Death and then not so much time later The Kettling/Pepper Spray starts on #OWS.

mayor bloomberg comes out to make a statement on the passing of steve jobs, just few days after saying #OWS attacks 40-50,000$/yr ppl.

RT @xxxxx: are the nypd really trying to kettle and arrest 20k protesters? really?

The protesters are holding a consensus meeting at the gates of Mordor, er, the entrance to Wall St.

If you see a black male, Green sweater, 190 pounds, hand bag and back pack. Tell him to change clothes etc etc Scanner mentioned him. #OWS

For every dollar you make, a CEO makes roughly $475

Why is it easier to believe that 150,000,000 Americans are being lazy than 400 Americans are greedy?

nice to meet our fellow #ows people fly in from alaska and sad to see a woman crying because wall street stole her pension and she is dying
